Cut the harsh bit. Only when it’s harsh.
Any of the eight bands turns dynamic: it cuts only while the sound is over your threshold, and leaves the rest alone.

What you get
Gain, attack and release on every band.
Double-click the graph: a low cut at the far left, a bell in the middle, a high shelf on the right.
Stereo, Mid, Side, Left or Right.
Press it and play: it names the key of the track, or the note of an 808 or kick.
The price
You get eight dynamic bands, Mid/Side per band and three phase modes for €23.99, once. I make music too, I’m 19 (now 20), and I pay for every plugin I own. I don’t crack them. The EQs I’d call essential cost three figures, so I price mine at what I’d pay myself.

No. With all eight bands on it uses under 2% of one CPU core. With every band flat it leaves your audio untouched, and a bounce sounds the same every time.
